MIDST PUKEKAWA & RANGITOTO:
SWIMMER (CENTRE)

Midst Pukekawa and Rangitoto was the result of an extensive project working with local people at the Parnell Community Centre and Library.

MIDST PUKEKAWA & RANGITOTO:
K CLASS LOCOMOTIVE (LHS)

The overnight train to Wellington used to be pulled by a powerful K class locomotive which was designed and built in New Zealand.

MIDST PUKEKAWA & RANGITOTO:
GOLD TAMATA (RHS)

"Tamata" are small metal votive offerings used in Eastern Orthodox Church as symbols of healing. They are often small, flat, and made of gold.

RUNNING ACROSS GI

This work was the result of working with members of the Glenn Innis community and was installed in the foyer of the Glen Innes Police Station.

SKIPPING UNDERNEATH

Skipping Underneath was the outcome of working with timber mill workers in Mt Gambier, South Australia.

AVONDALE COMMUNITY CENTRE

This wall sized relief is installed in the Avondale community centre. It was developed by working with the primary school, kohanga reo and local industries along Rosebank Road in the west of Avondale.

GREY LYNN COMMUNITY CENTRE:
REMEMBERING JOHN A LEE

This relief is displayed in the entrance of the Grey Lynn community centre in Auckland is a tribute to John A Lee, a dynamic figure in the Labour Party from the 1920s until 1940.

8 HOUR DAY: TRIBUTE TO SAMUEL D PARNELL

When the carpenter Samuel Duncan Parnell arrived in New Zealand in 1840 he was determined to work no more than an 8 hour day.

MASSEY COMMUNITY CENTRE CLOCK

The Massey community centre clock was developed for and is mounted on the local Community Centre.

RANUI COMMUNITY SCULPTURE

The sculpture was the result of working with local school children and members of the Ranui Community Centre in west Auckland.

BLACKBALL MUSEUM OF WORKING CLASS HISTORY INSTALLATION

This installation was the outcome of working with members of the Blackball Museum of Working Class History.

WESTGATE SHOPPING CENTRE BUS STOP

This work resulted from a commission Phill received during the development of the new Westgate Shopping Centre.
